Random Thoughts
Today has been a teeter-totter day for me. I’ve got two good friends who are each going through some pretty trying times. One is heading for divorce and just lost his job. The other is about to start a new job, but is having some difficulties with his former employer. I’m also struggling with my new career. There are days I wonder if I’m cut out to sell anything. I’m toying with the idea now of selling pre-paid funeral arrangements. I’m just ready to start making a steady income. It’s been almost a year, and I’m still struggling to make ends meet.
But God is good. He provides…no matter what. He is answering my prayers on behalf of my two friends. The one heading for divorce who lost his job got a job this past weekend with a Christian handyman. The other friend got some good news from his future employer. My kids are healthy and adjusting well to the custody arrangements. They’re good kids too. My wife is a sheer blessing and joy to be with. I have two wonderful parents who love me unconditionally and have blessed me in so many ways. When I put things in the proper perspective, life is good.
